- Albrecht discusses justifications of wildlife rehabilitation and methods to evaluate the success of rehabilitation and release programs. He proposes evaluating rehabilitation programs based on biodiversity and ecosystem preservation, and concludes that rehabilitation and release programs are not successful unless there is adequate habitat in which these rehabilitated species can be released.
