- Description
- Multiple health behaviour interventions can significantly improve women’s health across numerous domains. Telehealth offers a feasible and acceptable medium for such interventions and reduces barriers to care. This pilot study evaluated the feasibility and acceptability of CIRCUS, an online cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) intervention for multiple health behaviours in women. One hundred and three women participated in the study, 44 of whom engaged with the CIRCUS intervention. The feasibility of the study protocol and the feasibility and acceptability of the CIRCUS intervention were examined in a pilot within-participants one-group pre-test-post-test design. There was differential support for the feasibility of the study protocol and CIRCUS intervention. Outcomes for the study protocol feasibility demonstrated that the follow-up rate was lower than expected. Outcomes for the intervention feasibility demonstrated variable ease of online platform use. CIRCUS was acceptable to participants, evidenced by high levels of participant satisfaction. An evaluation of CIRCUS efficacy is recommended.
