- Description
- Organizations are realizing the importance of fostering a data-driven culture and provide their employees with the skills needed to successfully traverse the complex field of data science, as the need for data-driven insights and decision-making grows. As a result, it is now paramount to provide learning environments that help employees acquire the essential data science skills they need for their jobs. This paper presents a study that identified 10 significant features needed for a data science learning environment in the workplace. The study took a hybrid approach with a literature survey as well as analysis of data from a questionnaire from 100 data science practitioners. The results from both methods were incorporated to identify the key features. These identified requirements can play a crucial role in the design of workplace learning environments for data science in future.
