- Description
- Background: The Undergraduate Simulation Framework was developed to support quality teaching and improve the active learning experiences in undergraduate nursing curricula. Method: To evaluate the framework, eight educators were invited to share their experiences of utilizing this new model of simulation delivery. Results: Thematic data analysis revealed four themes: timing is everything; learning through observation and reflection; overcoming being overwhelmed; and increased learner centeredness. Conclusion: The Undergraduate Simulation Framework is appropriate to embed in nursing courses and can increase the delivery of simulations to large cohorts without impairing their quality.
