- Description
- As a First Nations percussionist from Australia, rhythm and culture is at the core of my expression. This auditory expression forms the basis of this visual essay with reference to a sound sensor installation titled “A Rhythmic Acknowledgment for Walking Experiences.” This sound sensor experience is located at a new Lake Macquarie Multi-Arts Pavilion in Australia. Given that this style of project is relatively new in the field of practice-based research, this visual essay aims to unpack the cultural thinking and reflect on the outcomes.
