- Description
- Trust is a crucial factor in a variety of computer-facilitated interactions, for example in the context of electronic commerce or negotiation. Since most transactions on the Internet are carried out by interacting with a User Interface (UI), a variety of UI artifacts were developed particularly for the purpose of building trust between users. In order to investigate the effects of UI artifacts on trusting behavior, numerous researchers conducted trust game experiments focusing on the manipulation of the UI. Within the scope of this extended abstract, we introduce a structured literature review approach that aims at gathering the findings of these studies in order to streamline research and provide insights as well as future research directions for trust-related UI design.
