- As part of its involvement in the international study, 'Educational Governance and Social Inclusion and Social Exclusion' (EGSIE), EGSIE-Australia conducted a survey of Youth from March to May of 2000. This survey targeted students in the final two years of compulsory education. Data were collected in eight different school sites, from three States in Australia. Schools were selected to include students in rural and urban settings, from public and private schools, and to cover a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds. All the schools were co-educational.
