- In this brief, a decentralized control algorithm is proposed for a group of vehicles to form diverse collective motion patterns. Without the guidance of a global beacon or a global reference framework, the desired collective behavior occurs provided that the associated network of the multivehicle system is jointly connected. The effectiveness of the approach is verified through theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and experimental results.
