- This thesis seeks to provide information regarding the particular care needs of people with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), information that can subsequently assist in the development of improved quality and appropriateness of care. The thesis explores the factors impacting on a patients’ well-being by means of the development and psychometric analysis of a measure of the perceived unmet care needs of patients with SLE, and examining the prevalence of such care needs and how they change over time.
