- Description
- The educational program in Geriatric Medicine for 4YMS was redesigned in 2009 in line with changes to the medical curriculum. Poor provision of medical care for older people may result as a consequence of inadequate undergraduate education and training and negative ageist attitudes. Implementation of the education program and placement in Geriatric Medicine provided an opportunity to assess the attitudes of 4YMS to older people.
