Theatre Royal Drury Lane: Henry the Fourth (playbill)
This was Elliston's last performance at Drury lane before he relinquished its disastrous lease. He had to be carried off during the performance. George Soane's adaptation of Weber's opera was first staged in 1823 by Elliston and became the most successful opera of the 1820s.
